The official music video for Cause a Scene brought the vibrant energy of country music to the screen with a bold and visually driven style. Production designing and art directing the video allowed me to help shape the environments that supported the performance and storytelling, creating a dynamic backdrop for Karen Lee Batten, whose talent and charisma made the production an absolute pleasure to be part of. The video was directed by the multiple award winning Stephano Barberis, whose creative approach helped elevate the visual tone of the project.
My responsibilities included designing the sets, developing layouts, sourcing and arranging prop elements, and coordinating across departments to ensure the visual direction remained cohesive throughout the shoot. Each design choice was crafted to complement the song’s spirited personality while supporting the overall cinematic feel of the video. The collaboration between the crew, director, and Karen herself made the production both creatively rewarding and a fantastic experience from start to finish.
