The festive mystery at the heart of A Little Christmas Charm unfolds through beautifully decorated winter locations that help bring its holiday romance to life. Serving as Art Director under Production Designer Paul Joyal, I helped shape the visual direction of the film while coordinating the many creative and logistical elements needed to support each location environment.
My responsibilities included organizing location builds, overseeing graphic design elements, allocating the art department budget, and coordinating the needs of the various departments working within the production design team. I also worked creatively with the director to guide a freelance illustrator in developing drawing concepts for two Christmas house sketchbooks featured in the story. The film was shot entirely on locations with several custom install builds, requiring careful planning to seamlessly blend designed elements into the real spaces used throughout the production.
