The promotional commercial for Polaroid PopShot Camera leaned into the playful uncertainty surrounding the turn of the century, using humor and a bit of cultural panic to create a memorable marketing moment. The spot embraced a fast paced comedic style while showcasing the unique features of the Popshot camera, giving the commercial a lively and energetic tone that matched the excitement surrounding new technology at the time.
As Graphic Designer on the project, I developed a variety of prop graphics, branded elements, and visual details used throughout the commercial to help sell the concept on screen. Working under Production Designer Perry Blake, the production offered a great introduction to the rapid pace and creative intensity of commercial work, where design elements had to be developed quickly while still maintaining a polished and engaging visual style.
